Hi Bruno, progress with the repaint, scale up and
radio control... The nose looks a little strange as the cowl isn`t attached firmly, I intend to hold the cowl in place with tiny magnets.. The turning up of the spinner will be next... She will be 18 inch wingspan... the electric motor and tail controls work ok... Cheers Batesyboy |

a nice new plane! I'm looking Forward to build it. But your numbers might be wrong. The No.1164 is still in use for the DFW T.28 Floh Best regards, Andreas |

I'm really loosing it so I'll have to renumber the 1164 Halberstadt. I already started with some recolors, so it will become 1173 probably. Bruno |

As promised some more recolors (and the correction of the number 1164). The recolors are not very original, I noticed. but they are classics, so I have to do them
Nr 1169 Halberstadt CL.IV axe Nr 1170 Halberstadt CL.IV black and white stripes Nr 1171 Halberstadt CL.IV hammer Nr 1172 Halberstadt CL.IV red V Nr 1173 Halberstadt CL.IV standard So this one was mistakenly first numbered as 1164 (that appears to be the standard camo of the fuselage for planes build by Roland) Nr 1174 Halberstadt CL.IV civil D71 untested and based on drawings only Bruno |

While building todays' model I stumbled on a liiiiitle problem.
My printer has run out of ink and I have no spare. So I'll have to do with an odd color shift on the plane, till I can get a new cartridge. Bruno |

Although closely related to the Hansa Brandenburg D.I, the Phönix D.I differs in wings struts, stabilisers, rudders, engine (and therefore also fuselage). In fact almost all parts have been redesigned to get this result
Nr 1175 Phönix D.I austrian tips I'll see if I can find other interesting recolors. bruno |
