Well if my recollection is right, the name comes from the fact that most aircraft had only four struts going from the fuselage to the wing, while this aircraft has four sets of a long and a short one. The short counting for a half.

Unless I'm mistaken.

I finally finished my model. (quite obvious if you know it's a working week).
there are some alignment problems (as usual) so I can't release it yet.
Apart from those problems, the model turned out rather well.

here are some pictures. (just as a teaser).

yes, it's the B787-800. Do I have to ask if anyone is interested?

So here is the (hopefully correctly) aligned version of the B787-800 in white livery.
If it is OK now, I can start the blue version since it uses the same curve along the fuselage.

Have fun with it.

Bruno, a belated Thanks for all the wonderful aircraft you've been releasing. Thanks!!

If I may, I have a suggestion/request for one. Have you ever considered repainting your Bear into one of the two TU-116's? They were the direct airliner conversion of the Bear, done in case the TU-114 wasn't ready in time.

I wish I could say yes to all these requests, but unfortunately I only have 24 hours in a day
I'll see what I can do. I'll add the models to my list.

Talking of which, my problem sometimes lies in finding a good, clear 3- or more view of the airplanes. Does anyone have a good one for the a350, a300 beluga, b747 in all it's versions and ib the dreamlifter version ?
With good I also mean scaleable to 1/300 scale with clear lines. And sufficient but not too much detail.
Thanks

I found these, which are simple but I don't know if they would be able to scale to 1/300...
