Yes You're right, but pending the scale the tube or wing skin could buckle.. even with S&P 300 series plane i use 160g .. for bigger scale 1:100 i used 180g photo cardstock or even 220g..

Still working on my text. I sometimes wonder if the content is not too obvious. I'll try to be as clear as possible. a little patience.
Part of the information can also be found in the PDF in post 743. Bruno |

It's finished ...
Lots of head scratching and rude words on this one. Mainly on the undercarriage and propellers , where I found it necessary to resort to CA glue, but I'm pleased with the results. The CA glue fogs the prop discs nicely too. For anyone else doing this one ... if you want to park it on the deck ... don't forget to add some weight in the nose. I was hoping the weight of the plastic props might tip the balance, but it didn't. I'm gonna have to find some lead solder to feed bits in through the hole in the tail. Nice set of instructions Bruno. Pleased to find out I have been doing it right. Keep on snippin' ... Johnny. |

Now you see why I don't like undercarriage, certainly at 1/300 scale I love the foggy props. that makes it so realistic. thanks for the picture. Bruno |
