Thanks, Heiner, for sharing your Connie (what is a Connie-battle ?)
Thanks, Jan et al, for the interesting suggestion.

But I started another Dassault design today. Not the Flamant (Flamingo)

Here are some pictures.

This is wonderful add to the French collection, this aircraft have so many variants, color schema and related like the IAI Nesher (base on the Mirage 5) and the IAI Kfir. maybe even bigger collection then the Mig 21 family

Thanks, guys.
I already did a recolor as a Shahak (Nr 59 in metal)
First I wanted to add more metallic luster to the model but neither the PDF nor my printer accepted the attempt. So I came back to simple (almost invisible) gradient color.

Today the new model is... the Mirage IIIE.
Note that the cross section of the fuselage is "not exactly round"

I think I'll be doing versions first and recolors (and releases) later.

Nicely done, I find the process of creating these aircraft fascinating and can only calll it an artform. None of the calf cut in half nonsense, something exquisite and amazing. Sorry, carried away with myself but they are brilliant and bring a smile to the race.

You're in for a long series of noses, keels*, different sets of canards, pitot probes and subtle changes in the vertical fin (fin root extension or not is the easy part).

* The belgian Mirage 5BA/BR/BD and the pakistani Mirage 5PA2/PA3 seem to share the same one, thinner with an arresting hook. Then there are the extended keels with chaffs/flares that were done for Kfirs, Cheetahs and Panteras.

OK, now you've got me frightened
Will I find the correct info? Where can I get the info on the keels?...

Started test building the Mirage IIIB today (with IIIA 08 and 5F ready to print).

That's an issue for me because I don't have bottom views for all the versions I want to do. The keel of my Mirage 50CN Pantera is a complete improvisation based on profiles and photographs.

If you have a Mirage 5F, you have a Nesher and a Dagger! Exact same plane apart from some antennas. Then replace the Mirage 5F nose with a Kfir nose and you get a Finger.
