Fokker D-VII

Hello Everyone!
About a year ago I designed and built this Fokker D-VII. The Fokker depicted here is nicnamed "Nickchen" which means Little Nick! It is one of my all time favorite WWI aircraft! I`m not sure how many D-VII`s were built, but the number must be well over 2500! OAW also made them. If someone knows the D-VII that was a two seater please post its name, (and or pictures) as I always wanted to model one. It would be easy to do because I already have it drawn up in Metasequoia! I would just have to do the necessary changes and wala! she is done! Anyway here are some pictures from meta!

I`ll be back with some snapshots!

Later,

Bill

Fokker D-VII

Hello!
Hi, I`m back with some picts! I`m a really big fan of lozenge, most of the WWI aircraft that I`ve ever done was all painted with it! (I`ve even done my RC aircraft in lozenge!) It`s crazy getting the colors near the full size aircraft because they all seem to differ everywhere you look! At any rate, these colors and pattern was my finished product! I hope you enjoy!

Back with more picts in a little...

DUDE, this is a great rendering. I love WW1 aircraft and have Wingnut Wings kits myself. I just might build this, Thanks!

What a beautiful looking model! The lozenge looks great as does the whole almost (I hate the term) patina usually found with age. Sorry, I should just say you really captured the feel of the great war era. Sweet D-VII!

Your design is very nice. And your built looks also good. What scale is it?
I like the D.VII. Wonderful plane.
