gomidefilho-that is a fantastic model. The aircraft plus the cat really make her a show piece. You did a an outstanding job and the model is very clean and lots of detail. Eye candy as I call it. You are a master builder and this along with your other builds proves this. It shows you care about your hobby. Thank you very much for sharing. I love your work. wc

Thank's my friends! I'm glad with you comments.!

About catapult is not movable, is a very simple hand design, based on deck catapult of USS Arizona...

The SOC 3 is a small plane but very beautiful model.

Best regards!

Smile

A teaser of the next addition of my seaplanes collection, at this time is a Torpedo-bomber Martin T4M1 with floats, from Scissors and Planes editor. The subject represent a one of two planes of USS Heron AVP-2 a small sea plane tender operate by US Navy in 1930's in Pacific. This vessel have a distinguished service in WWII.

According the pics on my research Martins carried by Heron not have machine guns and torpedos, used only for observation duties...

I believe ending this project soon...

Nice work, what can I say
Generally all those seaplanes are very interesting and have unique construction.

One thing I couldn't restrain myself not to tell ... If I were a designer of that kit I would done those windows completely in black or dark grey. Blue windows look a bit unreal especially comparing with the picture of real aircraft. Closed areas usually emits sunlight. But that just my thoughts....

Thanks, Sharunas, for the comment.
Having tried both colors in the past, I finally opted for blue.

Even better, Gomidefilho could have cut the windows out and replace them with plastic and then it would even have been more realistic. (Joking, Péricles. You are doing a wonderful job)

Nice models, I'm looking forward for the result.

A little detal: I noticed on different pictures of the T4M that some had an extra wing strut at the front close to the fuselage and others didn't have them. In my model of the wheel based T4M I added these as an option, bit not in the float version. As you can see on the picture of the USS Heron 2, this strut is not present
