Cool

The Kawanish H6K4 "Mavis from Murph's Models add to Seaplanes and Airboat Collection. the Large Flying Boat Type 97" (九七 式 大型 飞行 艇) also known as Kawanish H6K (allied codename: Mavis). The H6K was designed for an request of the Japanese Imperial Navy in 1934 to replace the Navy seaplanes that were already in use and in general were models produced under license, said the Kawanishi project team in England stole the plans and drawings of the Sikorsky S -42 that should have been produced in Short Aircraft, but this is legend. Surely the S-42 and the H6K have similarities, but the Japanese machine was better in terms of performance, with remarkable autonomy and heavy weapons, have been successfully used by the Japanese in China's campaign and in the early stages of World War II, after 1942 became vulnerable to allied new generation fighters being relegated to transport or secondary missions. Model of Murph's Models, the Isuzu truck Scissors and Planes

Remenber a Scissors and Planes Isuzu TX-40 truck? Aaron made a beaching gear so I not resist and scratch a towing hardware...

Mavis in my japan sector display.

This model are avaliabe in Murph's Models soon...

See you later...

Find 3-views, etc. Send them onto Aaron. The more info he has, the better.

If I right, is a Short Sandringhan a civil version of Sunderland. I have this kit from Lad 'n' Dad...

1/48 Short Sandringham VH-BRF, Ansett Flying Boat Services Paper Model

Is in my "to do" list, but this project is for years. I not have prevision of build. My actual mood is a military airboat and seaplanes of 1930's and 40's...
