This build is coming along great Ron.

Pertaining to Edsel's question.....
This is a 1/24 scale commissioned model from Julius of paper-replika.

However, since it is commissioned, it will be an Ecardmodels.com Exclusive kit (correct me if I'm wrong Chris or Julius) and I don't think it will be free.

Here is Chris' sort of announcement thread of this kit.

Correct - it will be available exclusively at ecardmodels.com. The Civilian version is nearing completion as well.

Build is coming along well! Thanks for sharing the pics. There is no major hurry on the build so feel free to pass that along
Thanks!
Chris

If you re-read my post, I did Not say anything about Availablity of this AFTER upscaling/Redesign
Just that it was an Upgrade/Enlargement of the Existing Paper-Replika model.
(Which IS FREE)

Nice to know it Will be available,
But, Are you based in US? or Canada?
You Must be for me to order from you.
I can not pay anything On-Line
I must use US Postal Money Orders.

It is not an upscale of an existing kit. Its a complete ground up redesign.

I am based in the USA. I can take check/cash/money orders from the USA only so you are ok there.
Thanks
Chris

OK, Thanks for that info
That plane is a NEW design, And location & payments accepted.
Can't do Check either. No account of my own.
I save Cash and buy Postal Money Order.
Cost a little more than ones from Wal-Mart, But they Don't Charge you to cash them!!!
W-M Does!!

looking at the engine cowl pictures , it appears to be too jagged ( maybe its the lighting ).

You may want to consider adding more sections to make it smoother looking.

My observations as a non paper designer ( so it is easy for me to say ).

Thanks

Isaac

The cabin is ready for insertion into the (yet-to-be-built) cabin skin. the OldTroll will need to study the assembly diagrams a bit more before attempting that. Just a warning - the OldTroll says he will not be "glassing" the model. Sorry about that but he hasn't done well in the past with transparent openings and doesn't want to screw things up by trying it on this model.
