I don't remember if I encountered problems with the nose - I add here one picture from the front. I believe it requires a lot of preforming since they have to be bended in two directions before glueing the parts.

I also add one picture of the external fuel tank to show the problem ;-)

I built this one in twenty minutes ...



It's in 1:300 scale. The actual model is half the size of the picture.

Other than the shape of the tank nose, what was your problem> I did not get this far yet.

Isaac,

I intensified the shape of the parts with a red line. Usually the joints should be in line; here it is very different. This made it from my point of view more difficult to build.

Actually no. These are plastic resin wheels from GPM.

The trend now for all new models is to go to plastic wheels instead of wood.

I have some for other kits as well.

the hobby is going upscale with accessories now. Next step will be 3D printing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
