Well, that's hard to believe since your PIA looked so great!
But, honestly, I just kind of eyeball it to see if it aligns together and then I build it just to make sure

Now I have to ask you a question, how do you make the lines?
Like on your PIA the yellow and green?
Also what program do you use?

Oh. I didn't realize that you were refering to a Paper Replika re-color. This being the "Bruno's Planes" thread I assumed it was one of his planes. I don't want to get into larger stuff right now.

Hi Croden ,

I use photoshop cs5 to do my recolors , now how i do my recolors ? .... well i first get all the parts of the fuselage aligned to make a complete side view of an aircraft and name the layer in PS as (template)

Note : the template is transparent only the lines and and windows are visible.

After that i draw my artwork and place it behind the template layer .

For the green and yellow band i used the pen tool ,

when the art work is completed for one side i then duplicate it and reverse it for the other side of the aircraft .

Then i take all the pieces and manually place them over the separated parts of the kit .

Now you tell me how do you get your recolors done ?

Fahd.

Well, I don't separate the pieces as you do, I just go and take every piece in order. Though I sometimes place the pieces together to see how it all fits.

We're seeing more action here. Another addition to the Bruno collection is the F-16 which I have re-painted to a Tiger Meet livery, prototype to see how it goes. Scale - 1:300. The original pattern is from the F-16 by Mame Craft. I have added two sidewinder missiles to add more fun. Not planning landing gears yet but will do so in other F-16's that I intend to build. Hope you'll enjoy the few photos of this F-16 Tiger Meet after lots of photoshopping to show it in airborne state. The next probable tiger meet livery is the Netherlands 2010.
