Indeed! Though what exactly is bond paper? Probably common here but goes by another name.

Your run of the mill copy/typing/printing paper, usually around 80grs or 20-28 pound paper here in the States

Thanks Rick. Very common here- even grocery supermarkets sell reams of 80gsm paper.

Here is a pakistani FT-5 in 1:200. The canopy is from the MiG-15 UTI.

I think this is the first time Shenyang FT-5 has been done in paper-thank you.
At one time those (along with J-5) have been somewhat popular Chinese export. |

Nice Pakistani FT-5 and other MiGs Carlos.
I don't know if these Shenyangs are somehow visually different from original Russian and Czechoslovakian counterparts. One year ago I turned Bruno's MiG-15UTI into a Shenyang FT-2 in Sudanese Air Force markings. While doing research, I hadn't found any visual differences that would be noticeable in 1/100 scale.

Thank you!
@Butelczynski A pakistani guy made a paper model of the FT-5 ages ago. It was hosted on Geocities. It was a simple model like this one. He also had a Shenyang F-6 and a few F-7E (chinese demo team) and F-7P/PG (PAF). @PacificWind From what I've seen, the JJ-2/FT-2 seems identical to the soviet-built MiG-15UTI (small airbrakes like on the original MiG-15). The polish-built ones have some variations as some (the SB Lim-2) were converted from MiG-15 bis/S-103/Lim-2 rather than the earlier MiG-15/S-102/Lim-1 so I'm using Bruno's MiG-15 bis tail cone for the above SB Lim-2. I've reshaped the airbrakes for the standard UTI and early MiG-15.
