Great, beautiful and rare camouflage. Great work Carlos! I have seen lots of rare colors in the MIG family, if they were effective I do not know, but they are striking I have no doubts.

Gracias Sergio!
I have 4 different profiles of red 546, all with different camo schemes. I went with the version from Cutting Edge decals. One of the other schemes looks more like the ones used 15 years later on north Vietnamese MiGs (fuzzy green lines sprayed over natural metal).

Yes, I recall about those Soviet Move somewhere. Their operations ended when USAF send their own radar equipped nightfigtters to intercept then en route for few weeks
Nice recolor. Not many know Mig-15s also came in came (although it was rather rare). |

You have the knack in producing subjects that simply HAVE to be modelled Carlos! VERY welcome additions.

Thank you all!
The MiG-15 is a quick build (around 90 minutes) so I test-built another recolor. On 21 september 1953, North Korean Lt No Kum-sok defected to South Korea with his MiG-15Bis. A week later it was transfered to Kadena AB in Okinawa and evaluated by the US Air Force. It was later transfered to the US (and given the buzz-number TC-616) for further testing and is now exhibited, in its original North Korean markings, at the National Museum of the USAF in Ohio. Wow,it's been a while...
Finished yesterday scale-up of Air France Sud Caravelle.I made it into full page format and it fits very well, striping on nose doesn't quite line up but that's to be expected with scale-up from really tiny 1:300.Cool model. I build this one wondering if I should re-draw old Kranich Caravelle and repaint it into old Finnair livery.I have original (Thanks Toddlea) and no way I will cut it up but redraw it maybe... |

Can you give more details about this re-scale? What scale is it?
