1/144 Mig-21 Splinter camo

Here is my repaint of Bruno's (SNP) Mig-21 in the Czech Air Force airshow splinter scheme.
The kit was reduced from 1/100 to 1/144. The only additions were a bristle pitot tube,
punched wheels for the tires, and the silver paper exhaust.
The external fuel tanks are included courtesy of Gerry1966.

The kit will be available on Ecardmodels.com shortly.

That's a very nice camo and great build! Must have been time consuming drawing all those small spots.

I think Czechs were trying to develop their own digital camo pattern. Purely research afaik. Poland tried similar ideas too but on helis. It didn't go anywhere.

Texman, I think your printer may have a virus- everything's coming out spotty lately!

Intricate and effective repaint though. Looks great.

@Carlos - yes, yes it did!
@Karol - I assume the same
@Garry - I don't think so, printer has coughed in awhile
