1/72 Tiger Moth
Well, I'm having a break from doing my dogfight build So decided to build Contour Creative's Whittakers Chocolate tiger moth...So far it has been a good build, the instructions are good and the model has good detailing
Anyway bit of background of the Moth: The de Havilland DH 82 Tiger Moth is a 1930s biplane designed by Geoffrey de Havilland and was operated by the Royal Air Force and others as a primary trainer. Enjoy the pictures!!! You might notice there's two, one's for me personally but the other one is for a friend NH78

Good on you for building it in the original 1/72 - I tried but had to upsize to 1/48 in the end...It is a great design though...

Really interested in following this assembly, Jan has done such a nice tutorial with the Stampe and now the Tiger Moth. I am in biplane heaven.
Your work is very clean and the photo's are well done. Thanks, John |

Looks great so far!
I really like the Contour Creative models and am always glad to see one under construction here. I have yet to build my first CC Tiggy, but at least will enjoy your build. Don |

Thanks for your comments,
Getter 1, Yeah, mine has the anti-spin stakes, this is the one i'm building: 1/72 Tiger Moth Whittakers Chocolate Paper Model This kit is going together well, the build tips Contour Creative provide in the kit are useful What's built so far, cockpits are in, wings are built, struts are built and the engine cowl is on... The last picture is the 'parts pot' Enjoy the pictures, NH78
