Thank you gentlemen.
Next up is a S&P repaint of an IL2 Sturmovik that I printed out about 4 or 5 years ago. I found it in a drawer and just finished building it yesterday. I had a small alignment issue withe the arrow on the right side. I have already fixed it on the repaint. I will send this to Ecardmodels when I have a few more repaints to send.

Thanks,
Brent

Nice work Brent. The IL-2 is a firm Soviet WWII favourite of mine.

I did a couple of repaints of this one a while back. Bruno's original went together perfectly but I did find the canopy fit a bit troublesome. Easily rectified but did you have the same problem?

Great recolors Brent.

I particularly like Il-2. By coincidence recently I was watching film "Pilot. A Battle for Survival". Film is a story worth another thread but IL-2 in it is interesting. It features taxing modern build 1:1 scale model with full interior and film has about 30-40 min worth of very good CGI of IL-2 in flight very faithfully recreated.

Very nice Sthurmovik with late wing! Bruno redid the Il2M3, but not made a tons of versions. Il2 is endless subject like another WW2 soviet subjects.

Thanks guys. Gary I didn't have a problem with the canopy. I built it without the back part(as in the picture below). I added the gunner's canopy just to see how it looked. It is just slid into the front canopy with no glue for the pictures.

Another S&P repaint. This is an J2M3 Raiden, one of Bruno's older models. I made the 2 piece wings, tail and elevators into one piece. I will send it to Ecardmodels in the next week or so.

Thanks,

Brent

A beautiful model of the Raiden, Brent.

It's a famous airplane: the aircraft flown by Lieutenant Itoh Susumu of the 302nd Naval Air Group (Kaigun Kōkutai) out of Atsugi Naval Air Base southwest of Tokyo. The marking on the vertical stabilizer represent two B-29s destroyed and three damaged in April 1945. The yellow fuselage stripe identifies the flight leader's (shōtaichō) aircraft.
