Excellent choice Brent, if I do say so myself!
Which I do.

Looks good in those colours. If I recall correctly, this aircraft has a bend in the wings because the designers found the CoG was too far back and putting a bit of sweep on the inboard section was an easy way to fix this. It also had an unusual neutral angle of incidence in the wing, supposedly to improve dive characteristics.

Yes,it is an interesting looking plane. Next up the MkIV repainted and modified as a target tug in the Royal Navy.

Thanks,
Brent

I am very glad to see the Vindicator, Brent. It is one of my favorite airplanes. I built a couple of them as 1/24 rubber powered flying models (Comet kits) years ago.

Many thanks for all the beautiful models you have designed and made available.

Don

I've only ever seen side profile pics of RN Vengeances. Looking at your completed model Brent I have to say it looks quite smart in it's RN colours and markings.

Even though it was generally regarded as a so-so air weapon, I've always had a soft spot for the type since building the old FROG plastic kit as a kid.

Thanks as always for your kind comments.
My wife and I just got back from a 11 day cruise along the California coast. We were in San Fransico the day before Fleet Week and had the Blue Angels practicing their routine over the bay for a few hours. Their C-130 Hercules even did a few passes when it flew in.
Next up is my repaint of Bruno's Tornado Gr.1. I repainted it as Alarm Belle tail code AB during the Gulf war in 91. This kit went together very quickly and was an easy build for a swing wing jet.

Thanks,
Brent

Very cool, from nose to tail it just screams "Tornado."
