Those look great! Saves me from doing the F-16 "BDU" scheme now.

Very nice color schemes, Brent.
I only had the black and white splinter done myself and never found the time for more.
thanks for stepping in.

If i was to spend $15 US Dollars on Scissors and Planes models (repaints included) would there be any top picks from designers and recolor(ers?) Preferably WW2 or modern.

Edit: By the way, Brent those are some amazing Builds and recolors!!

Well, I guess that depends on what you mean by "top picks".

Simple to recolor
Easy and fun to build
Personal Favorites
Good deal for $$

I know most of Bruno's 1/300 models are relatively easy construction, and from what I've heard the 1/100 ones are not that much different.

Hello,

You can go to Ecardmodels and change the models from "sort by latest" to"sort by popularity". You can see what people are buying. Hopefully you can find some top picks there.

Good luck,
Brent

Ok I purchased GPM’s pacific Beaufighter bundle and Bruno’s A-6 bundle a while ago and have a recolor of VA-34’s intruder as my current WIP

I’m probably going to buy some single aircraft and try to recolor some…

Thanks for the help!

I've built a few hundred S&P models myself and his new Sepecat jaguar models are especially fun to build; I also enjoy building his A-4 skyhawks and his new F-18 and Su-27 series are very well designed. If you're a beginner, something from his MiG-21 family or his Hawker Hurricane could be a good pick. Any of Brent's recolors too, of course, are stunning and you can't go wrong

Though, I would advise you to mostly choose based off of what planes you are most interested in. Bruno and all of the recolorers have given us our pick of the litter of all kinds of unique, obscure, and colorful aircraft and they are all pretty equal in difficulty and accuracy

EDIT: just now saw your latest message, the A-6 is a great pick! Probably one of my favorites to build (having made two A-6Es and one EA-6B). Definitely share your build!

Sure!

I unfortunately damaged the build with a small water spill, but after my free Murphy’ Models T-28 ( might have retractable landing gear) I will work on the A-6B from VA-35. Maybe I’ll get the recolor done and do a build log here…

The A-6 was a fun build and I might get the commemorative A-10 in SEA paint (Saw it and was impressed recently at an air show). Also thinking of the F-15 2 seater bundle…

Edit: Here meaning on Paper modeler’s NOT THIS THREAD

Any update on the 20th SOS twin hueys from Texman? I got a couple of guys on the 20th SOS Facebook page waiting for their release. It's started a conversation on the "spot" camo scheme amongst the members.
