That's a gorgeous Sabre! I like the way you have the leading edge slats extended.

This is a magnificent model of Lieutenant Donald McLean's aircraft (Serial 50-0666) in the markings of the Korean War era (c. 1952) Kimpo-based 334th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, 4th Fighter Interceptor Wing (Descendant of the 4th Fighter Group, which was originally formed from pilots who flew with Number 71, 121, and 133 Squadrons of the Royal Air Force Fighter Command [the "Eagle" Squadrons]. The 334th FIS descended from No. 71 Squadron RAF.
Eagle Squadrons).

Joe Baugher's USAF Serials site lists this aircraft as "lost to enemy action."
1950 USAF Serial Numbers

From the appearance of this superb model, I could not tell taht it was made of paper.

Greatest Fighter ever designed before the Eagle! I got to climb in one of them at the air force museum in dayton once. I was amazed on how small they are and how it literally fits you like a glove with hardly any room to move! Great model darek!!!

I had to take a double take here. I thought it was the old F-86 model ( I think it was the Fly model combo with the Mig-15 ). this one is very crisp and clear new model.

I'm very happy to see a new crop of good quality kits come on the market. This one will be another one for me to get.

Wow that looks great! I was just lamenting the lack of an F-86 in my collection the other day...
