Spectacular!

Popala,

A spectacular build!

Is the paper a silver ink or a natural aluminum finish?

That has to be one of the best 104 models I've seen.

I agree with everyone, that's a beautifully clean build. The metal finish looks amazing.

Thank you very much for all your kind words. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I make a living in front of a computer so I had to stay away from one through Christmas

I looked for a translation of the type of paper this was printed on. The best I could find was "art paper" or "chalk overlay paper". It is a smooth, shiny but not photographic paper with silver print. A standard medium for simulating a natural aluminium finish.

Beautiful work, you're a true artist. I like the engine exhaust details, GPM's version of the Starfighter seems to be by far more detailed than the KK Starfighter on this point, or did you add the details yourself? Well done!!

Regards,
Erik

Thank you Erik. All the engine details are included in the kit. I added the pitot tube (made for 1:32 plastic kit) and reworked the canopy frame. It was simplified too much in my opinion and it lacked the handle.

Due to TOS changes on photobucket, I moved my images to postimg.org. The old images will disappear soon. Since for some reason I'm not able to edit the original posts, here are pics from the new host:

Great build! Nice detailed work and I am sure it took a long time to build.

I have this kit , canopy and the laser frames and look forward to building it.

I don't bother with any 3rd party photo sharing service and just upload it directly on this forum since I can also add comments easily and place the pictures I want next to it.
