Actually, looks like a feasible design.

Why the article is so derogatory I do not know!

Every aircraft maker has proposed or studied a flying wing or lifting body , however other than the B-2 bomber none has made it into production.

Not that it is impossible, but it requires a complete new process which the bureaucrats can't handle. Also, you need to build thousands of these thoes to make it worth while.

I'm sure at some point, there will be a shift away from the barrel with wings design. I don't think we are at that point yet.

There's also the fact that flying wings are inherently unstable. The only reason the B-2 flies is because of fly-by-wire computer control replacing the pilot.

Super, Super Cool :-) The writers of that article are just jealous that they didn't dream up something that spectacularly amazing. As I understand it, a lot of modern military aircraft would fall out of the sky if their computers stopped working, so why can't this fly? Good luck to 'em, I say, after all, we were told the An 124 couldn't fly, or the Mil 'Homer' helicopter, or that the props on the 'Bear' couldn't go supersonic.... JEALOUS!!!!

So, when do we see the paper version?!?

I found a cool video of it in action. No 3-view yet though.
