FW-190F-1 build

Has anyone built bestpapermodels.com FW-190-F-1? I was just curious, because I'm pretty much done with my F-4E Phantom II, and wanted to start to build this model that I purchased from there.

Here's my photo of an FW-190 (replica) taken at Planes of Fame, Chino California and edited into this informational sheet. This is type of plane I'm going to be working on.

Great start! I'm looking forward to this as I have a couple of bestpapermodel aircraft. The fit looks good so far, have you found any issues?

Thanks,
Gary

It's 1:35, an odd scale for aircraft.

What RunwayOneSixRight said (nice name btw, I visit Van Nuys every once and a while). Yes, it is 1:35 scale.

As far as fit problems. As I'm just starting into it, I'm noticing that it fits okay, but I think I may redo the fuselage, I didn't like how the tail flushes nearly flat. I need to give it some thickness in there. There's a sweet replica of an FW-190 at Planes of Fame, I've been taking a good deal of reference photos of it, I'll look at my photos and see what can help me with this model.

I think I'm going to restart, and upscale just a wee-bit to 1:33 scale from 1:35 scale on this one, I want to restart on the tail and put some supports in there. Kind of making it up as I go.

Yes, thank you, it actually does have to do with Van Nuys.
There is a movie called "One Six Right" that features said airport.
I just changed my profile picture to a better, more fitting, picture.

Yep!! I have that movie, bought it a while back when it first came out. Bought the music too. I often would take my boys over to that observation area you see in the movie - did that when they were younger - we may have to make a trip again. It's about 2 hours away from where I live near Chino.
