Mikoyan & Gurevich Mig-29UB Polish Air Force - GPM

Hi everyone!
Tomorow I go back to school but I couldn't sleep so I've decided to build something, and why not continuing the Polish Air Force series with an another beast ?

I bought this GPM kit , well can't remember, this was in 2010 I guess, when I bought more models on GPM.pl in 2013 I also bought the laser cut parts for the mig-29.

And after so many years I finally decided to build this beast (actually I think I have the skills now)

So here is the begining of the contruction:
the laser cut parts fits very well, they are very useful because the structure is always a pain to build.
the parts which will recieved the cockpit later are not glued yet.
Well, it's almost 24:00, should take some rest now before tomorow

make sure to purchase the canopy for it.


I like the plane so much that I also built a 1/32 scale plastic model as well

Isaac you're very lucky I like a lot Soviet/Russian/Ukrainian aircrafts but I only saw one mig-21, one mig-23 and a Lim-5 and Pzl TS-11 but no mig-29 or Su-27, but one day I will see one of them I hope
Your Mig-29 are very nice ! the paper one is beautiful !
I'm stuck with some parts in the cockpit right now do you have some pictures of the pilot/copilot front panels ? I don't really see if I hae to glue it inside or outside the structure (like on the very bad picture below ...)

I'm really interested with this kit, got it too, full set, book laser canopy & gear. Where planing to do it but I was a little concern with the printing, look like a 90's reprint. Your review is going to be really useful !

I actually have two canopies .
One I bought with the Mig on a Hungarian website but when I received it she was damaged , a long white strip across it.( travel must have been a bit rough).
When I bought more kits on internet (this time on GPM's website) I bought the laser cut parts and a new canopy but no resin wheels ( out of stock at that time) although for the other kits I got wheels but no laser cut parts. When I will finally build them I will try to find laser cut parts .
Soo tonight not a big progress, with your pictures Isaac I was able to build the front panels.
The seat shown her isn't finished yet.
I also tried to color the third laser cut parts sheet which has not the same thickness .
Posca's pens are really cool on paper and with this kind of wood it works very good I'm glad.
And the paint didn't wnet in the little holes, this is cool.
