Falkland era etendards carry exocet missile on right hand hardpoint and fuel tank on the other due to shortage of exocets missiles, they also carry smaller fuel tank on centerline hardpoint, i use this configuration on my etendard. Post war etendard could carry additional matra magics on outboard hardpoints

Hi Raja - thanks for your reply. My only problem with the exocet is that the super etendard
could carry only one missile and the huge size makes the SE look asimetric .

Best Regards- Yair

Yair

I think you are ready to make your own vacuformed canopies.

Did you see Yoav's instructions?
http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/401554-post119.html

or his video on YouTube?

or this thread?
vacuform machine and mould making

Hi Isaac - I am still checking the issue as I already did a couple of trials.
The results were not so good as the canopies came a little broun from
over heating . So there is a need to improve the technic by me...
For the SE a two section canopy that can be open will look better.

Best Regards,
Yair

From artistic composition and aerodynamics point of view, i think the external fuel tank balance the exocet quite well, moreover it give the loadout a bit more variation

Personally i want to depict the etendard during the period of falkland war, maybe i could recommend the less common loads for your etendard:

4x Mk.82 bombs

Or

2x Matra rocket pods and 2x 250 Kg bombs on rack

Raja -Thanks for the images you send.
I will try to decide which configuration to build .
It is always nice to look at the french jet fighter
sleek lines.
