I guess is a combination of all - markers, paper, scissors, rock.. oh sorry, that is for another thing.

I used bad paper in my latest Dave's P-47, and on photos looked worse, although the design was great.

So go for it!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement.

Gerardo - I have been going back over your builds to try and glean tips from what you have done. By the way in my house Rock, paper, scissors also adds "bomb" (which beats everything) and "Shoe" (?!?). Such is the life with a 7,6, and two 4 year olds.....

Everyone always chooses spock, though.

Darren, have you tried using something like a bone folder to go over the cut edges? It will compress the paper fibers at the cut to make them denser and help in reducing any delamination and most times keep the fuzzies from developing when edging with wetted down colored pencils. It also gets rid of the small ridge that seems to creep up on some cuts.

No progress over the past few days Gerardo. It's been a couple weeks of sick kids and hectic schedules. Perhaps this weekend I can get a couple hours in. I promised the kids that I would take them sledding in our nice 8+ inches of snow we got yesterday and last night.

Doug- Great tip on using the Bone folder, and I actually have one of those. Never thought to run that over the edges. The sound you hear is me slapping my forehead with a "duh".

Darren -

Quick! Post more images of your P-47 build, or else the next thing that will show up will be the Spanish Inquisition or the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.
