Good advice...I am planning on getting this Comet and will aim to use 1mm card - I couldn't see .5 mm being miuch use in a 1/33 model unless the frame was close-packed like a honey-comb...

Hello again !

The fuselage is almost ready.
Cost me a lot of emotion - not always "good emotions".
I cut off whole front and divided into single frames. Every frame was a little to small - gluening needed more attention than usual.
Arrows on photos indicates some chinks - some of them now is corrected.

See you soon, friends.

Hello Kiwi kev!

Of course you can put here few photos of yours model - we all will see them with pleasure.
However i am strongly recommend to start new build thread. This airplane is totally worth it.

Wonderful! I am just now reading a biography of the aviatrix Beryl Markham, "Straight on till morning". She was a protegee of Captain Tom Campbell Black, who flew Grosvenor House to Australia with Scott; Black's career was cut short by a freak airfield accident.

Hello Piotter,
You did a great job on the fuselage! It looks extremely smooth. It is very pleasing to a BM-Orel plane being assembled. I have no experience with this stable and your work is definitely catching the attention
