Wonderful Dick! Your skills regarding handling the fabric are amazing and the way you paint the numbers is exactly the way they were painted back in those days.

Hello,
I would like to thank everyone for their kind words. It's a big encourage to continue building.
The lower wings are already done and inserted for the test.
Regards,
Richard

I agree with Erik, it's a privilege to see a masterpiece come together.

I love what I see here. The attention to details have made this project stand out.

Thank you for sharing the imagery of this with us.

Dick

Do you have more information on the wing construction, the ribs look very realistic?

Looking great Dick.
Its very curious the way that exhaust manifold comes up like that.

It is, indeed, a superb build, Dick.

Mike - Those vertical manifolds seem to have been used most widely by the Germans and Austrians. The British had a few aircraft with vertical exhaust pipes, but the exhaust was collected by horizontal manifolds.

Thanks for the vintage photos Don. They clearly show the vertical exhaust pipes.
The final photo has to be my favorite. It looks like a primative seaplane.
