Md-450 ouragan - finished model

so the moment has arrived and i finished building the OURAGAN.

but before pictures, a little bit introduction about the model and what it represents.

the OURAGAN tail no' 08 that i built, not represents an active plane, it represents a display plane that stand in one of the IAF bases.

and why i decided to build this specific bird???......
only the OURAGAN planes that served at the 60' in the IAF and where with silver schema or the blue/brown schema had the famous shark mouth.
when the OURAGAN planes painted to sand/brown/green schema they didn't get the shark mouth.

and from my point of view, OURAGAN in a sand/brown/green schema without shark mouth looks anemic and not noticeable.

fortunately, i found a picture of OURAGAN that stand in IAF base and painted with a sand/brown/green schema and with a shark mouth....this is not historically true, but at least there is such a real plane, display plane or not, but it is a real one.

this the picture of the real display bird.

but before pictures, links for my OURAGAN albums.

FINISHED MODEL ALBUM

BUILDING REPORT ALBUM

regards to all

YOAV

and now the pictures.

the scale is 1:30 like all my big models since 2013.

and yes, it represents a IAF plane.

Beautiful!

I build in a competitive atmosphere. Having won some awards, I would not want to, or dare to, compete against your skills!

Fantastic Yoav. Definitely my favorite IAF color scheme.
