Yes maybe someone could build it better. But who cares if they can. Did you enjoy building it, well then, that's all that matters.
Have fun!!!
BTW. Looks good to me

I had fun with the 767, don't worry.

Does anyone know of a way to prevent paper from fading?

I spray the sheets with matt UV-resistant Krylon before assembly. Not sure if it helps, but no fading so far.

It may sound obvious but keep it out of direct sunlight. And what Don said.

Does artificial light affect it?

It shouldn't unless it's the type that is supposed to replicate sunlight. My opinion only. No experience to prove or disprove.

Thank you Don!

This Cathay Pacific A340 is a repaint by Edwin Rodriguez. I messed up a little on the rear and the wings aren't at the same angle unfortunately.

There does seem to be a slight tilt to starboard, but not a show stopper. I appreciate your showing the images, even when not 100 perfect. We are all learning and improving our skills. Ad astra per ardua!

Perhaps this image will make you feel better. I have absolutely no idea how I managed to glue that nose on at that angle. I subsequently built the model again. Still not great, but the nose is straight! I have another one under construction and hope that the third time will be the charm.

Back to the subject of fading: my experience tells me that direct sunlight is most likely to cause fading. Artificial light seems to have a less dire effect, but as been mentioned, it probably depends on the nature of the artificial light.

Don
