Question Mission Impossible- What's next

Now that the Fury is done ( and it was an enjoyable build ), I laid out all of the pre printed kits I have on the table ( over 30 of them ) and started looking for my next build.

Sort of like in the original Mission Impossible in which the team leader chooses his team from a stack of folders.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Pb5WV1RnXQ

but

my wife said, she would like to choose the next model for me to build

She selected the F-104G Starfighter.

Hummm

Very nice work, Isaac! Gloss paper is terrible to show curvature irregularities or mismatches and I see none on the pictures! The curves and light reflections are all where they should. Great

Looking forward to the F-104

Stunning build and wonderfully crafted thread, Isaac.

What "plastic" did you use to form the canopy?

Gene

I use K&S Engineering clear PETG ( Polyethlene Terephathalate Copolymer ) plastic 0.010 inch thick.

Hope that helps

Isaac

Hello Isaac and Don!

I have found your group build only now. Both great jobs!

It was the first airplane, which I designed. Some things would have been better.

Especially I like your impressive modifications. I fail to make a vacu canopy, for example.

Greetings from Germany

Martin

You have designed a wonderful kit that is appealing to the eye and relatively easy to build by an experienced builder. I had great fun building it.

As far as modifications, I do it to almost every kit that I have built. Either structural or more details.

Regarding a canopy, I believe that it is a must to have a vacuformed canopy.

I know that making a mold is time consuming and then vacuforming is not easy, but with experience you will get better.

have you designed any more airplanes? I did not see it on your web site.

How about a Fiat G.91 in West German colors ( in 1/33 or 1/32 scale ) ?
