I have that same book. Have not built anything from it yet.
Your finished model looks good.

There is also an interesting second book from the same author titled "Historic paper planes" also to build and fly.

Thanks for the compliments and taking the time to look. I've started on the third model from the book. I'm a slow builder, but my paper modeling technique seems to be improving.

I've read about that issue elsewhere. My die cuts are off a little too, but not so much that they run off the printed area. Maybe I got lucky.

Can you show us how they fly? Like Ojimak's perhaps?

I haven't been around here long enough to know who Ojimak is (pardon my ignorance). But my planes would fly with about the same trajectory as a smooth pebble dropped out the window.

Here's Ojimak's website for downloading flyable planes.

The F2 was the first paper plane that I built when I first entered the world of papermodelling.
It took me one and a half days to finish it cautiously because it was my first experience to
figure out all the how's. Then I threw it from the 17th floor of a building and the plane took
some 1.5 minutes to land (crashing into the wall of another building). It was a lot of WOW's
and I think it was worth all the efforts in making it and seeing it took flight.
Mind you, it's 100% addictive.

I too have that book plus another one.... purchased years ago from Half Price Books. I did not build any of the models inside because I would hate to ruin such a nice artifact of paper modeling history.

Unfortunately for my heirs, they will have to buy their own copy used on Amazon because my goal is to build every one.
