Wonderfully crafted model!! Congratulations with the outstanding result. A pity I can't open the pictures to see more details. Perhaps you can upload them directly on the papermodelers site instead of linking to another.

Regards,
Erik

Raja,

This model was released in 2012, and is quite detailed, on par with their other releases, like the Sea King, Tomcat

don't be quick to dismiss this release

Rick

Sometimes what is correct on the full size subject looks wrong when applied to a model.
Sometimes a little artistic license is needed in order for a model to look right.
Yours looks right to me.
Roo, old mate, you have produced one of the very best model aircraft I have ever seen.
You have my congratulations and my respect.
Bloody bonza.

Oh, no no, i have no doubt in quality of recent Maly releases, as demonstrated by kangaroo's build. I was refering to his realistic repaint and redraw, i would like to try that version. I had build Mr. Inwald's models in the past (Spitfire and Vautour) and i'm very impressed in his coloring skill

Wow! Very nicely done. You did an excellent job. I checked out all of your in progress photos and the level of work is impressive.

The air vents in the wings being mistaken for exhaust ports happens all the time and not just with modelers. Back in 1989 I was volunteering with the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo New York. Their annual airshow usually featured several B-17s. That year a couple of the B-17s had just returned from England after filming “Memphis Belle”. The films art dept. had applied the appropriate olive drab over neutral gray camouflage and correct markings. They also applied painted on weathering effects including (you guessed it) exhaust stains coming from the air vents.
