"landing skid" next up is the extended skid. what is not included is the wheeled cart that was used to launch/takeoff from the ground. these were ejected on takeoff. I scratch built a set using photos from actual WW2 pics of me-163 on the ground. basically 2 wheels and a dropped axle shape...

canopy time. canopies are not that difficult if a little thought and preparation go into them. I build up the card model "glass" inside out. in other words any joining strips tabs go on the outside. a relatively smooth interior is needed for sculpey clay to be squished inside. a lot of people go out of the way to use 2 part epoxy, fiberglass etc. cheap quick universally available sculpey works just as good. this stuff bakes for 15 minutes and is hard and sturdy enough for several vacuum formings or heat and smashes. I still have a variety of old molds from years ago. do treat it like fine china and don't slam it around but it works and will last a squadron of aircraft. you must sand any imperfections from the rough cast or else these imperfections will show up in your "glass"...

Nice job on this model. I've always wanted to build one of these rocket powered interceptors, but never got around to it. Marek offers a diverse collection of aircraft.

Can you please give the files another try, it should work. If it does, I will remove the above posts to clean up the thread.
