Wow, Erik! Some real artistry there. Careful work is paying off. I really like the step by step pictures. Each little part is a kit in itself (especially now that I've actually seen a Helinski kit!)...

Ricardo, that's interesting comparison with the cockpit of your Ju, it's clear to see that for "my" version the front machine gun has been replaced by reconnaissance equipment.

Isaac, you're absolutely right. Moreover, given the way to enter and exit the cockpit, the crew would have little chance to survive in case quick escape would be needed.

The major cockpit internals are complete and now come the smaller parts, which are not so easy to install. The internal structure in the nose (part 19) is in place now, which includes the pedestal for the bomb aiming equipment, at the right side. This is such a finely detailed part of the model and it took me a few hours to complete.

The instrument will be located on the three white dots (second picture) and will protrude into the gondola. To ensure proper alignment I intend to place it only after installation of the gondola and I really hope it will remain visible to some extent once gondola and nose cone have been installed! In any case, here are two close-up pictures of the instrument.

Within the other parts of the internal structure (third picture), in front of the pilot's seat, the pilot's pedals will be positioned at the white dots, which will be another microscopic detail

Erik, you have to think about a solution of indoor lighting inside the cockpit, otherwise, when this whole business is closed, we can not enjoy all the beauty you did inside the cockpit and it's a shame !!!
