I built the chinese P-26. The engine cowling is probably installed backwards. The base is from papermodel.jp.

Yes, the engine should be opposit to that on the photo. And antenna looks better if you cut the white space with the sharp knife, or make it of a thin thread.

Hi ShiFu:
My first attempts to your A-12 and P-26, simplified and in 1/400.
No struts, antenas or guns.
Thank you again for sharing.

ps I really liked how you resolved the landing gear in the A-12

Yes, now I think, that 1/400 scale is also good for these models. They may look even better if you color the white edges of the model with a color pensil. Sometimes I do so. For example, look at Tu-128 in my previous post.

I agree with you, at this scale the thickness of the paper is important.

Very nice little airplanes, ShiFu. I've been on an armor kick for over a year now, but your models caught my interest. I'm building one of the Spanish Civil War I-15s from your first jpeg collection, enlarged to 1:150 scale. Since the scale has been doubled, I thickened the center bulkhead to 0.5mm (close enough to 0.4mm, I suppose). It has been a very enjoyable build so far. Thank you for enriching my leisure time, LOL.
