What do you use for antenna wire on those 1:100 models?
Tried to use my wifes long hair but they are hard to work with and very hard to see (egen if they are probebly close to scale.)

Thanks

PS I really like 1:100 scale. Only build ones from THAI , I need try some from Scissors and Planes.
Your builds are very beautiful and inspiring.

Beautiful planes. I could look at some details for hours.
I hope there will be more pictures and next planes.

Just to prove I am paying attention...I did some research.

That little "blade" sticking up on the La-200 is not an antenna mast for wire antenna.
It is the IFF Interrogator Blade.
Only found on the "Interceptor" version of this aircraft.

You'll find many photos of this aircraft with no blade aerial.

Looking at photos, there does not appear to be any external communications (wire) antenna on the La-200.
There could be underside fuselage mounted antenna wires though.

With regards to wire/cable antenna on older aircraft, 1/100 scale thickness would be in the area of .002" (if the antenna wire was not sheathed)...for you metrics, thats .05mm

A human hair is generally only slightly thicker than that, so (other than the colour) might make a good option.
I'd say up to .1mm would be an acceptable scale tolerance.

If hairs are too tricky to handle, there are many fine "wire" options
...I'm sure some must be less than .1mm?
