Well friends
At the beginning of March this longest thread I've ever made at Papermodelers is on its anniversary, the efforts to show, build and promote Bruno's incredible models, I think that after 1055 responses on 106 pages where we covered the construction or we showed 78 models of its extensive catalog. I appreciate each of the 80,577 views (number that is at the time of this post), and I hope I helped to spread the "spirit of the 1/100 scale", as a scale that can combine collecting with some level of detail. I was modestly one of the pioneers of this scale in the midst of paper modeling and in these 15 years on the road I feel rewarded and the "My Scissors and Planes Collection in 1/100" is proof of that. I decided this year to adjust the model building objectives and goals in this thread a little. CCCP Meetings Free Choice
Well following the new philosophy of objectives, I chose a model of rapid construction (cut, assembled and completed in 2 and a half hours) at the virtual meeting of my model club, which is always held on Tuesday nights.
My fourth DHC-1 Chipmunk. Like the other three, a model with few modifications. This is from Bruno's original catalog, model number # 540 of the same. This version of the RAF has some minor alignment errors. As the goal was to build quickly, some details could be improved, but overall I was satisfied with the results. |

Hello Pericles,
when you mention: My special Projects: 1. Potez 25 Repaints / Mods and Add Ons - in preparation do you intend to include: Potez Po 25 A2 “Avion Grec" with the Hispano Suiza 12GB engine? I had purchased a Paraguan Potez 25 from Bruno years ago with that repaint and mod in mind, but haven't got around doing it yet... |
