A small update of the model I have to work on tomorrow on the last day of my 25 days of vacation. This quick and easy repaint was done representing one of the aircraft used by the Ukrainian army, in the ephemeral years of its independence before being annexed by the Soviet Union. A suitable model to reflect on the sad events taking place in Europe at this time.
I return to the MiG I270 and the Midway models in the sequence... |

Well friends taking a break from our Midway models, my biplane mood and free themes. I ask permission to show a step by step of this model the MiG-29MU "The Phantom of Kiev", Bruno gave me the honor of testing his newest repaint. Probably in the sequel I will build the MiG-29MU that Brent repainted. In fact, it is not known exactly whether the "ghost" flies a specific plane or several (as happened in the Vietnam war with North Vietnamese pilots who had no known identities other than what the country's official media said or made up) , but considering that the availability of the MiG-29 is increasingly low in the Ukrainian Air Force, this possibility of having more pilots than planes may be present. Although the Russians call this war a "Special Military Operation" I as a historian am already calling it the "Russo-Ukrainian war". And look, I'm not going to make a value judgment here between the game between powerful forces, I think about the suffering of ordinary people who are the ones who suffer the most in a war, this small tribute is for them.

Wonderful news Pericles! Please take lots of pictures, and very descriptive steps,
and I will be more than happy to make it into a tutorial document as I did with the F-18!

Now, I'm crossing my fingers, that all these little patches line up (more or less).
Looking forward to see the build and result. Thanks, Péricles, for helping with the test build. It is also an honor for me that your skills try out my models. B
