I did a quick (and botched up) build of the nose trying to explain this, but the pictures are not convincing. Apart from that, Well done, Péricles. Not your fault, just the fault of not providing build instructions on my part.

Well, as you know, I always work on several S&P models at the same time, some go fast, some slower, some stand still for a long time. Starting next week, we'll have a good update on these projects that are on hold and this subject is kind of out of my scope. A repaint by Philippine repainter DRDREI642 of an F-15C operating in the Oregon National Guard. The model presents improvements and I'm curious to test it, at the request of the very talented repainter. Let's see what will happen, the F-15 is much simpler than Bruno's F-14, but as I haven't seen many builds, let's see.
Another start in the next week is a Republic P-47D Thunderbolt in FAB colors used in Italy (famous "Senta a Pua" squadron), is a Gerry Repaint. All pieces are cut. |

Whew! Looks like a very complete and complex model mate. Hope it goes well.

Hello friends! After a certain time without updates, unfortunately I come with a glitch. (mine obviously), I've been trying for the past two weeks trying to build the F-15, but failing miserably to predict the sequence of the plane's midsection. Air intakes are invariably misaligned. My 38 years of experience say that in modeling when something goes wrong you have to take a break and try again at another time, that's what I'm going to do now.
And to avoid misunderstandings, I want to make it clear right away that the model doesn't have any problems (so much so that I've seen several builds on social networks after research for collect references), and Bruno did it very well engendered. The problem is with myself. And when something goes wrong, we have to reflect on why it's going wrong and that's part of the hobby too. Time to reset the project schedule and think the next (for retake F-15 in another time). P.S. My test was secondary, the model is buildable and is even available at ecardmodels. |
