Excellent work Pericles. Looking at pictures I can see where Fairey Swordfish came from. General layout is already there.

Thank you my friends! These interwar British planes are really very interesting.

In fact all these two-seater English biplanes had a slow development throughout the 20s and 30s that culminated in the Swordfish as the definitive design among them all. But if we think about the designs of the Blackburn house, like the Shark it was also quite advanced, but among all the Swordfish stood out for its performance, even surpassing the Albacore which was more modern and was certainly the "swan song" of this type of airplane.

A fascinating model, I'm impressed by the rigging - what kind of material do you use?

Thanks my friends!

I use a technique invented by Rata and Michael Stanley that uses broom bristles, brushes and brushes, which are selected at the more or less correct thickness. I also use monofilament surgical steel.

My pleasure. Ahh I glue with CA glue with low viscosity. Rata and Michael paint the cables (rolling the same in a fresh paint stain).
I particularly use my cables in black or a light cream, depending on the color of the plane. ![]()
