The first to be shown is Messerschimitt Me-109E-4, one of the many "emil" that famous ace Adolf Galland flew in 1940/41. Model repainted by Rata with modifications to the canopy and wheels, based on model Nš #348/351. For our part, we only customized the cable antennas and the machine gun barrels on the wings.

The second of the night is the Dassault MD 450 Ouragan from the Israeli Air Force, which despite the absence of yellow and black stripes on the wings and tail, was used in the Suez war in 1956 with notable success.
Model built "straight from the sheet", with no modifications other than the addition of the antenna on the nose. Model Number #2018 from Bruno's catalogue. Continue... |

I don't know about "rich" part, but they definitely made his jets world famous and viable option if customer didn't feel like Russian or American product.

I think that when the Mirage III went into production and took advantage of a gap between the withdrawal of the British aeronautical industry and the conception of heavy and sophisticated fighters by the USA, that was when Dassault filled its pockets with money. Considering the huge number of Mirage III operators and its derivative versions. In fact, previous Dassault aircraft were not big sales successes if we compare them.
