Hello Siwi!

Fulmar is in my to do list, another interesting design derivate of Battle.

It's become one of my favourite planes since reading a book about the FAA and Taranto. Compared to the Battle it performed very well in everything it was asked to do, wasn't a high performance fighter but didn't need to be. I'm biased but recommended Brent's repaint of '6F' N4137

Pretty model! Nice idea with using a silicone brush for shaping, I’ll have to get one and try that.

I have this repaint of Brent and have a Gerry1966 version too, really is a great subject. The high quality of Brent repaint put the project in my list.

Let's go to some more updates. My intention was to finish both models this weekend. But as we had a birthday party for my wife on Saturday and after days of rain it was a beautiful sunny Sunday, I ended up spending a few hours at the workbench.

The general construction of the FIAT CR-42 also made good progress, with the basic general construction of the plane complete. No part has fitting or misalignment problems. The only extra thing I did was place a small cardboard bar internally on the lower wings to maintain 0 dihedral.

The model will go into a jig and I will prepare the struts and the upper wing, my expectation is to finish both models this week.
