Hello friends! Opening the 2024 season, we will show the projects from the beginning of the year.
This year I want to focus not only on the Scissors and Planes models but I have some projects that I consider significant. Between them: 1. FAA Project - Focused more on the 50s and 60s, my idea is to build this year Sea Venon, Scimitar, Sea Vampire, Sea Vixen, Gannet, Sea Hawk at least, starting with the Supermarine Attacker. It is an unpretentious project with no fixed deadline or need for continuity. 2. Silver Wings: Focused on USAAC aircraft from the second half of the 30s until 1940. Bruno has some interesting models and I add to them the P-26 de Rata that I did a repaint, here there are also few models, maybe four or five, maybe more, it will depend on research. 3. Early Brazilian Airlines: This project connects to the repaints that I started doing in 2012/22 of the Condor Syndicate aircraft, which has since been stopped, I will start with two Ju-52s this semester (I hope). 4. African Air Forces: This is a project that I started in 2023, there are a lot of things separated and cut waiting for construction, I have a selection of at least ten different models, and at some point I intend to develop them, with a greater focus on the Cold War period. 5. Brazilian Military Planes: As the name suggests, whenever Bruno designs something new that Brazil has used, he never forgets me. I already have some parts cut from at least two helicopters that should be built in February. 6. Midway - Resuming of 2022 great project started by Rata and Karol, The idea here is to perhaps add two or three more models this year. 7. Free themes /Biplane mania - a permanent choice These are goals, not objectives and they are not obsessive either, this is what I would like to do this coming year. Of course, procrastination and lack of time are always enemies to face, let's see what we can do this season. Doing a short report on New Year's Eve here in this corner of southern Brazil... This is the view from my window where my workbench is, with Morro Santana in the background almost late afternoon. December 31st was a beautiful summer day. On this occasion, the wife and I spent New Year's Eve alone, I roasted a picanha barbecue (picanha is a segment of noble beef, close to file mignon, extremely tender and tasty, all washed down with cold beer and muscatel champagne ( wife likes it). On January 1st, after recovering from the swallowing and eating, I started the season by separating the projects I'm thinking about for the two months, starting preliminary work on some new ones, summarizing the Breguet XIV and cutting out pieces. A perfect day.
Updates soon! Happy 2024! |

You are welcome my friends! If you ever visit me... Another provocation, two pieces of picanha cooked perfectly, with the apple, leek and raisin salad that my wife makes, salty and sweet and sour.
