Yes, I've been at home here for a long time, and haven't participated much in Brazilian forums these days (there aren't many left). Thank you very much, I missed you too! |

Raimund, thank you very much for the note, I am also facing this problem, but only on one side, it could be a difference due to the weight of the paper in my case the misalignment of the windows is two millimeters, I am thinking about painting to correct it.

Well friends!
After a while without posting, we will return with some more advances on the C-130. This weekend I practically completed the plane (photos missing) with painting of white corners, propellers and I started gluing the set of antennas that the FAB machines used. Thanks to the generosity of Bruno and Texman, I was also able to prepare the fuel tanks in FAB colors (in particular the last color scheme operated in Brazil). I hope to complete this project today and post photos of the completed plane tomorrow. One thing about the nacelles is that thanks to Bruno and Texman's tips on the construction sequences, I had no problems building or fitting the set to the wings. |

Thanks Don!
Although I don't know much about Dassaults, both the Mirage III and 2000 are in my sights. I'm having a very busy week, but I haven't forgotten my promise and I should post photos of the finished model soon. |

Well friends, after a lot of learning and work, here is the Brazilian Air Force Hercules in 1/100 scale. FAB 2459 was an SC-130E, a multipurpose variant of the Hércules for transport, SAR and aerial photogametry. The FAB received three of this type in the 1970s. FAB 2459 remained in service until 2015, and was subsequently deactivated. Thanks to Tigertony100 and Texman who helped with ideas and insights to build this model.
Since Bruno changed the sales system, concentrating everything on Ecardmodels, I don't know exactly the catalog number of the FAB SC-130E, but I suspect it is #4973. My model was built "straight from the sheet", the only modifications were the additions of the antennas (based on photographs) and the side observation window behind the fuselage side door, which is characteristic of the SC-130. It is a model that presents a certain difficulty in building the wing and nacelles, but nothing that requires any effort and already a lot of information and reports on the construction that can be overcome. In the end, I have this classic in my country's colors in my 1/100 collection. The FAB operated the Hercules for 60 years using the C-130E/H and KC-130, in various color schemes, certainly at some point I will repaint another one in these high visibility colors. For those who like a challenge, it is an intriguing model. |

This is an impressive model to have sitting on your desk. Worth persevering with and working out the difficulties that came with the first attempt.
