Currently building king size A330.Even in 1:100 it will be the largest plane I ever build.

Ahh Winter...

Karol I try keep focused in planning but not have possible sometimes, George is a example...

I decide make a company for George, and the choice is a Brent Yokosuka D4Y3, in the pics first aspects of build. I try finish until 31/12. I documented the build here for share some of my techniques like Rata made with Ki-27 tutorial...

The Begging...

In first look D4Y3 is more easy model then previous George, note the marvelous simulation of Whatering...

Everything need to build Judy: Cardboard for laminated wheels and internal brace wing suuport

All pieces need lamination done...

In all S&P models and derivations I separate gluing tabs and glue back on pieces for made edge or top gluing, note the plastic tool for press the tabs, my war with white edges is fight with marker pens and acrylic paint...

My feature of undercarriage legs, my procedure is curve the piece and gluing with PVA glue solution with 20% of water (humidify the piece, but not blurry the impression), is more easy to roll...

All pieces with white edges paint waiting for build the subsets...

The George looks fantastic, the incredible family and the Yudy will surely be magnificent! Here too the heat squeezes, almost 40 degrees on Saturday, 38 yesterday and today it rains a lot but the temperature is ideal. Thanks for detailing the Pericles process, they are great help.

Keep the Japanese coming Pericles! We don't often see the radial engined D4Y3 modelled.

Thank's Garry!

In Brazil still 2019 I hope is the last model of 2019, now I show the progress made in the last night...

I use to make a shape airfoil a cook spatule, is easy to conform wing with this tool...

For made a fuselage curves I use a different needles for make circunference and gluing I check plans and pics in absense of formers... I start for cownling or a middle of fuselage...

For make canopy I fold the tabs first and curve the piece, after I gluing for back and use to help form a round sculping spatula...

The results at the moment...

The process of make vertical tail, note I use a needle to made chord, the kit have madea providencial conformal tab (need a inverted curvature)...

After I make a internal wing support, I prefer laminate with 240gsm cardboard. After dry, I put on fuselage check diedro with my references...

Continue...

Cool

Resume the build on D4Y3...

With same technique used on vertical tail I put in place the horizontal tail...

I make spinner (use the custon pieces provide by Brent) and make undercarriage, the wheels are laminated with heavy cardboard (above 450gsm) and painted... Note the first stage of gluing airscope

Tailwheel fixed too, and general build are done...

Now I build the small details of D4Y3, perharps in first day of 2020 I show here...

Happy 2020 for all!
