Time to resume the continuous work on Scissors and Planes and derivates...
Yesterday on the holiday of Good Friday (for Catholics), I set up all the subsets and the night during the CCCP virtual meeting I finished the assembly. This morning I applied a coat of varnish and the model was finished. Note my paint booth for applying varnish consists of reinforced sheets of 180GSM recycled paper that are folded after the dry varnish, prevents dirt from spreading the varnish, the same goes for airbrush applications, however with the pandemic trade in my city it is closed, and it is not worth buying just a bottle of varnish to apply with a pistol, since it lasts forever for me. The people of CCCP on video conference meeting... |

I summarized the works on the two Fokker DVII modified and repainted by Gerry Papermodels on the same night of the virtual meeting (soon to be made available at Ecardmodels). I concentrated on the construction of the tiny cockpits, to cut the pedals, steering column, belts and glue all these components to make the cockpit I had to use magnifying glasses with their own lighting. I also built the first fuselage, I believe that today I finish the second. (Recalling that I chose personalities machines: Lothar Von Ritchofen and Hermman Goering).
I'm suspicious to talk but I love the Fokker DVII ... |
