Hello friends!
Just to let you know that this thread hasn't died. I'm just having too many personal commitments and prioritizing "non-scissor" models. I also want to say that I changed the construction approach, preparing the models in batches, ie cutting and performing subassemblies and when a certain number of these subassemblies are ready we batch the final assemblies. At this moment I have 4 models waiting for the final construction: Bird Dog, Aviatik DI, Vought F4U1 Corsair and Vultee O-49. Models in preparation in sub-batch construction. 1. Boeing B-17B 2. Boeing SB-17G 3. Sikorsky S-51 4. Curtiss P-1 Hawk (My repaint) 5. Nieuport 21 (My repaint/conversion) 6. Tupolev SB-2 7. Mitsubishi Ki-21 (My repaint) 8. Arado Ar 68 9. Me-109B 10. Me-108 11. Me-109V1 Total: 15 models. |

I look forward to seeing all those models. The Aviatik subassemblies look good.
I'm always glad to see a Birddog being built. I spent a lot of time in the back seat of L-19s as a 1st Cavalry Division aerial observer in Korea in 1963. Don |
