We then prepare the customization, which consists of volumizing the hood and the air intake with its diffuser. It was not a complicated task.

We then started the final construction of the fuselage by gluing all the segments leaving the air intake last so that we can add 4 hunting pellets that act as a counterweight to prevent the model from falling through the tail. We took the opportunity to glue the canopy and the vertical tail, because at this point it is better without the wings to check the alignment.

I know some might think the MiG 15 is, by modern standards, a bit boring and 'old hat'; but I certainly don't and always enjoy seeing any new builds of the type.
Going well Per!

Thank you my friend!

I'm suspicious to say but I love the MiG-9/15/17/19/21, they are amazing planes in terms of design. Others must appear. My problem is time for model making this semester. Over the weekend, I resume both constructions.

well friends.

After a period of inactivity I'm back with the construction of my MiG-15s.

As many know I work in a union and we are here in a period of negotiation with the employer class, so it is a period that every 2 years I work like never before. That's why updates at this time are episodic.

I did the general construction of the two planes, with my traditional method, I transform the internal reinforcement into a laminated cardboard lintel.

I also made the wing flow guides by laminated and glued on top, in the Chinese machine you have to pay attention to the position of the wing guides.

I started the construction of the landing gear for the two planes with some additions such as cardboard actuator arms and total separation of the landing gear doors. I believe that in the next update tomorrow or later on Thursday, I will have the model ready.

I always enjoy your step-by-step illustrations of your building methodologies.

Another excellent model!
