Well friends we are back. For those of you who are Catholic, I hope you had a good Friday holiday.

This week we continued work on the Breguet XIV, pinning the model and immobilizing it to apply the top wing support jig.













As I already mentioned, my jigs are made with homemade material, popsicle wood, toothpicks, scraps and pins of different sizes.













We start gluing the wing through the central strut with white PVA glue, with everything dry and always keeping an eye on alignment, we start gluing the wing struts from the inside out, note that the wings were also immobilized in the jigs, to ensure that nothing will be glued warped.

Once everything is dry, we remove the gluing jig from the wing. Note that the struts will still go through a reinforcement process with a layer of CA glue and then full painting.

Taking a break from the Breguet XIV, we turn our attention to the C-130. Unfortunately, work was a little delayed today because I was at home for a few hours without electricity due to a violent storm that happened in Porto Alegre in the late afternoon. As the famous Brazilian singer and songwriter, Tom Jobin, father of Bossa Nova, would say "These are the waters of March, closing the summer"...







I chose to start with the core of the plane, already thinking about that transition from the loading ramp, this Bruno model he did without the tabs, which is not a problem, on the contrary, as it leaves some freedom of interpretation, I paste my tabs from behind and considering that this model is a reasonable size, I also chose to make them bigger.

The wing support beam was laminated with 400g cardboard and this time I chose to use acrylic paint to cover the white edges.

Yesterday before the power went out, I also started building the fuselage core and installed the wing lintel, everything fit together very well, I followed Karol's tip and installed a small cardboard bar in the ramp area so it wouldn't bend and help with the form.









I also started the construction of the rear fuselage sections and joined the halves of the central wing section, as well as separating the wing roots. I'm still unsure how to start the assembly sequence, but I think it will be gluing the central section of the wing first.

Thank you very much for encouraging you, my friend and master. I hope to see a beautiful build in 1/144 scale. I'm still working on the fuselage core and the rear part, I'll bring you photos soon.
