Yoav's Kfir in 1/33 scale

I scaled it down from 1/30 to 1/33 so it would fit on letter-size card, and I vacuformed a canopy from my own mold. I made no other changes. This is an outstanding kit, and it was a pleasure to build. I'm working on Yoav's F-15 and his A-4 Skyhawk. The F-15 is a challenge due to its size, but both are going together very well.

Thumbs up Yaron's repaint

A slight credit correction. The Kfir is Yoav's design. However, he had it painted in grey color. His friend and fellow paper builder ( Yaron ) did a repaint to the camouflaged version that you built. You can build either one as both are beautifully designed and rendered.

I wrote a complete thread on this for my build of Yaron's rendering with info :
Kfir C7- Yaron repaint of Yoav Kfir C2

I built many of Yoav's excellent designs, but realized too late that the scale was 1/30 and not 1/33. Thus all of his models and any upcoming ones will continue in 1/30 for me.

I love your build and detail. If you have any in process detail photos, pleas share those as well

Isaac

I have the grey version but the camouflage looked more interesting. Thanks for the clarification.

As Isaac wrote above, the model is indeed mine, but my friend Yaron repainted it for a camouflage scheme for the Kfir C-7, and also added landing gears and armament that fits the specific model.

My gray Kfir represents a C-2 model.

Incredible work there on what is indeed a very good kit. You've done a fine build of all those small details.

Congratulations to all involved.
Yoav, your models are exquisite!!! There is no telling with this level of detail if they are made of paper or plastic!
Yaron, your repaint is also a masterpiece; with all the shades and details in place.
Sakrison, your building clarity did give credit to an already beautiful model. Excellent work sir.

Amazing work. Always nice to see one of Yoav's designs. Yaron did a great job on the re-paint.

I started building the grey colored Kfir C2 as originally designed and rendered by Yoav. I will post a separate abbreviated build since I already built the camouflaged Kfir C7 repaint from Yaron. The model except the guided missiles is identical.
