Top wing is on and all the prep work paid off. The pins really help keep things straight and make it quite strong. Next up is the rigging for which I have to get motivated. Not sure whether I will use the .005 stainless steel wire I usually use or try the elastic thread. Either way really finishes up a bipe. Will take more pics when I get started on the rigging but here is progress so far.

I am actually quite upset about Bruno's message of the atrocious email he has received. It is hard to believe we live in such a f'ed up world! I have never met Bruno but I am certain he is wonderful soul and certainly does NOT deserve such treatment.

Great progress.
I have no experience with rigging on biplane, but I used thin wire for rigging on my USS Ward in 1/400. It's definitely more durable and easier to make.

Very thin fishing line is perfect for rigging.

Wow! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think my boyhood hero Chuck Connors (aka The Rifleman) would ever enjoy my work! Thank you so much for all those wonderful times watching you spin that Winchester around and nail those bad guys!

Finally concluded my saga with "Charity". Very happy with this one. Hard to believe that Stahlhart and others turn out such great kits for FREE. At least as long as we have these around we won't have to worry about Bruno closing up shop because of one little email

Great little Gladiator with nice cockpit detail! So what did you use for the rigging in the end? Looks like thin wire.

The Rigging is .005 stainless steel wire. I usually use .008 but my stock of that has run low.
